Why 105rs?
Origins
Precinct 105 is in the 23rd Legislative District and the 6th US Congressional District of Washington State. We 105rs were all Party Activists in the 2-Party System when we began. Soon we were joined by others who were not in Precinct 105, but shared our vision for our County, our State, and our Nation. The 105rs decided to ignore Party Politics, and focus on basic Civics and Responsible Citizenship instead. The 105rs believe the entire "Red Team" versus "Blue Team" mentality has divided us, one from another, and our aim is to bring us all back together as Americans.
First Steps
105rs.org was formed out of a sincere desire to uphold the principals of Liberty and to ensure that our government - at ALL levels - restricts its ambitions to conform with the principals set forth in the Declaration of Independence, and the US Constitution. To that end, the 105rs are committed to being a reliable source of information for learning how to operate the levers of government, hold our elected officials accountable, and make our voices heard!
Where We Go From Here
Our goal at 105rs.org is to build a community of people who are ready to do something to affect positive change in our Schools, our Courts, and our City or County governments. We will never knowingly post false or misleading information or advocate for any Party or Ideology over another - but forever remain dedicated to the United States, and the great American Experiment, in which we are all now participants. 105rs.org will publish and promote any group or event - regardless of Party affiliation who submit their information to calendar@105rs.org.
